Microsoft Xbox 360 hits 30 months as top selling games console

Microsoft's Xbox 360 is the top selling console in the US for the 30th consecutive month, and pulled in just shy of $200m in June. The firm excitedly revealed its success in a blog post that cites figures from The NPD Group. "Xbox 360 maintained its position as the top console in the US last month, selling more units than any other platform with 140,000 units, according to new data from The NPD Group," it said.
