Well, my favorite time of year is almost upon us.? The weather is getting a little bit cooler, the leaves will start to change color.? My two favorite holidays are coming up; Halloween and Thanksgiving.? I love everything about this season.
The thing that I am looking forward to most, though, is football season!? We live in Indianapolis, where the Colts have been dominate for about 13 straight seasons.? With Payton Manning and a load of other star players leaving, everyone in this city is sitting on the edge of their seat to see what happens next.? I can?t wait for opening kickoff!
My husband and I are also in a fantasy football league,? We have been involved with this league for about 5 years now and we always do well.? The draft is coming up this Sunday and we are hard at work researching what players we are going to draft.? It is tradition that everyone brings a snack to munch on in between the action of drafting your star player for the year.
I was very excited to hear that SNICKERS ? has come out with a special football edition minis.? These bite-sized bars have every NFL logo on the wrapper.? They are the absolute perfect thing for me to bring to the draft on Saturday.? They are also great to pack in my husband?s lunch bag to bring to work.? Football isn?t just a game.? It is a shared experience.? What makes rooting for your team so much fun is that you are surrounded by others that are cheering for the same thing.? It brings you together.? It joins you.? My husband and I always watch the Colts games together every Sunday.? It is ?our? thing that we do.? We often go to parties or to his parent?s house to watch the game.? But we are always together.? Now, whether it is just the two of home alone, or at a larger gathering somewhere else, we will have these delicious SNICKERS bites to snack on.? Go Colts!
